Dear Colleagues,

We are delighted to invite you to participate in the 3rd Biennial International Scientific Conference, Creative Future Insights 2025 - Creativity of Othering in the Age of Migration, to be held on September 18–19, 2025, at VERN’ University and The Institute of Economics, Zagreb, Croatia. This year's conference will explore a timely and thought-provoking theme: the impact of "othering" cultures and traditions on mainstream and local traditions in the fast-changing global landscape of migration.

By participating in Creative Future Insights 2025 - Creativity of Othering in the Age of Migration, you will join a dynamic conversation about the intersections of creativity, culture, and economics in a rapidly shifting world. The conference will provide a platform for interdisciplinary research, policy discussion, and innovative ideas, addressing areas such as:

• The social and economic significance of creative industries in an era of migration
• The relationship between culture, identity, and the creative economy
• The role of creative industries in promoting cultural diversity and innovation
• Media representation and the commodification of "othered" cultures
• The global creative industry's response to migration, woke culture, and identity politics.

However, these are only suggestions for research topics as we are looking forward to all other ideas related to dynamic cultural and creative industries field. We are confident that your contributions will enrich our understanding of the complex role that creative industries play in shaping and reflecting contemporary societal changes.

Conference language: The official language of the conference is English.

• Abstract submission deadline – 15 March 2025
• Abstract in English – max 350 words
• Conference date and venue – 18th – 19th September 2025 at VERN’ University and The Institute of Economics, Zagreb
• The presentations will take place in person or online
• Submission of full papers in English for publication in the conference book of proceeding – 7th December 2025
• Accepted and reviewed papers will be published in the book published by reputable scientific international publisher.
